Macintosh house – Planning

Our Macintosh House scheme for the Howard de Walden Estate has successfully achieved approval from Westminster City Council.

Our design aligns to the tradition of the London terrace and, as visible along the rest of Beaumont Street, the principal rooms face the street and secondary uses are pushed towards the interior or rear of the site producing a contrast of expression between the two elevations. The design consists of a ‘front elevation’ and a ‘back elevation’ with different treatments responding to the context, scale and character of Beaumont Street and the Beaumont Mews respectively.
