Wembley – Olympic Way and Olympic Circus

This August Dixon Jones (with Gross Max, landscape architects) were awarded the commission to upgrade Olympic Way and Olympic Circus – which together form the iconic ‘Wembley Way’, by which most fans approach the stadium after arriving at Wembley Park station. The granting of the award followed a limited competition organised by Quintain in partnership with LB Brent.

The approach to the stadium is 580 metres long and is designed to accommodate up to 60,000 visitors arriving and leaving the stadium on event days whilst providing high quality public realm at all times.

The project is on a tight timescale and is to complete in advance of the Euros in 2020. Delivery is in three phases, the first to go on site in January.
