5-6 St James’s Square, London

This scheme combines two adjacent properties under single ownership to create a mixed use office building, residential block, and gallery space.

The redevelopment involves demolishing a building in the square and building next to a listed building, requiring extensive consultation with English Heritage and the St James’s Conservation Trust.

The entrance to the building is a continuous promenade that starts in St James’s Square, moves through a central cloister and proceeds up a stair to a modern office entrance on Babmaes Street.
